Watch: Finn Harps' Jesse Devers scores sensational last-minute winner against former club

Finn Harps have made a habit out of scoring late goals in recent weeks and their First Division clash with promotion-chasing Galway United at Finn Park was no different as Jesse Devers scored a sensational last-minute goal.

With the game looking as if it was all but set to finish in as 0-0 draw, former Derry City, Barnsley and Celtic winger Paddy McCourt picked the ball up in the middle of the park after Harps cleared a last-minute Galway attack with some resolute defending.

With confidence, McCourt sprayed a beautifully weighted fifty-yard ball over the top of the Galway defence which found the feet of former Tribesman Devers.

With incredible composure, the Mayoman sent a ferocious shot from the edge of the box over the helpless Tadgh Ryan and nestling in the back of the net.

The result means that Finn Harps have shot up to second place in the league table with four wins on the bounce aiding Ollie Horgan’s sides promotion aspirations.
