Extratime.ie announce link-up with eir Sport

Extratime.ie is delighted to announce that we will once more be providing around-the-grounds previews and round-ups for eir Sport’s SSE Airtricity League of Ireland broadcasts.

Having already shown two games in the early part of the season, eir Sport on Thursday confirmed their next two league broadcasts. On 16th June, their cameras will be in Turner’s Cross for the clash of Cork City and Limerick. A week later, the focus moves to Oriel Park where Dundalk welcome Finn Harps. A full round up of what eir Sport offers can be found via https://www.eirsport.ie/.

As part of that coverage, Extratime.ie reporters will provide video previews and reports from the other SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Premier Division grounds.

“eir Sport is delighted to continue its link up with extratime.ie. We are always looking for ways to enhance our coverage and this partnership enables us to keep our viewers up to date with all the action in the Premier Division so you won't miss a thing while watching the League of Ireland on our channels,” said Brian Quinn, Operations Director at eir Sport.

Last season, eir Sport broadcast over 20 games featuring League of Ireland sides and that focus on the league was a driving force behind the link-up for Extratime.ie owner Gareth Penrose.

“Extratime has always tried to bring the best coverage of domestic football to the supporters and linking up with eir Sport will allow us to take that to a new level. Since arriving on the scene, eir Sport has shown a strong commitment to the league. We believe this is a perfect link-up as we both passionate about promoting the League of Ireland to a wider audience.”
