Jonathan Creamer leaves Cobh

Cobh Ramblers confirmed this morning that striker Jonathan Creamer has left the club.

Creamer played for Cobh Ramblers U19 side in 2013/14 and he was also named in Manager Martin Cambridge's First Division squad for 2014. He made his league debut against Wexford Youths on 14 March 2014 and went on to make 11 league appearances that year.

He made 7 league appearances for the club in the 2015 season, scoring once in a 1-0 win over Athlone Town, before injury ruled him out for the rest of the season.

In 2016 the striker made 13 league appearances for the Rams (11 as substitute) as well as appearing in all three of the club's FAI Cup matches. He also scored in Cobh's Munster Senior Cup final win over Rockmount.

The club thanked their former player for his efforts in a statement earlier today:

“We can today announce that Jonathan Creamer has left the club. Jonathan played for us since u19 level where he won the Enda McGill Cup in 2014. He progressed to senior football that year and has been part of our senior setup for the last three seasons.

"We would very much like to thank him for his time here at St Colman's and wish him the best of luck in the future.”

Ramblers first game of the 2017 season is at home against Wexford tomorrow.
