Grimsby Town have added to their midfield with the signing of Curtis Thompson from Cheltenham Town on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has inked a deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2025.
Thompson, who started his career with Leicester City, spent a significant part of his career at Notts County, making over 100 appearances.
His journey also included a role in Wycombe Wanderers' promotion to League One in the 2018/19 season and a solid performance in the Championship.
Last summer, Thompson made a move to Cheltenham Town, where he clocked up 22 appearances this term.
David Artell, Head Coach of Grimsby Town, shared his thoughts on Thompson's signing: “We are delighted to get someone of the calibre of Curtis in the building."
Artell expressed optimism about working with Thompson, praising his character: “He’s a good bloke, good character and we are all hoping that will help us win games.”
