Bristol Rovers has announced the signing of two players, Lamare Bogarde and Jack Hunt.

Firstly, the club welcomes back 19-year-old midfielder Lamare Bogarde from Aston Villa on loan until the season's end.

The number 22 shirt, which Bogarde adorned last season, will once again be his.

Having made 17 appearances for Rovers in the previous campaign, he returns with some familiarity.

Born in Rotterdam, the Dutch U20 international began his footballing journey at Feyenoord.

Rovers' gaffer Joey Barton expressed his excitement about Bogarde's return, stating, “We are all delighted to have Lamy back in with us. Given his loan spell with us last season, he's no stranger to the team. This presents a golden opportunity for him to further showcase his talent, and we're optimistic about reaping the rewards this season.”

Bristol Rovers have also secured the services of 32-year-old right-back Jack Hunt on a two-year contract.

Hunt joins Rovers as a free agent, fresh off a promotion-winning stint with Sheffield Wednesday last season.

The experienced player has an impressive portfolio of English clubs under his belt, having previously played for Huddersfield, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest.

Speaking about Hunt's acquisition, Barton said, "We are thrilled to have Jack on board. His know-how of securing promotions and playing at higher divisions resonates with our club's aspirations. I'm confident that he will not only enhance our performance on the field but also be a driving force in the dressing room.”
